The Otesaga Resort Hotel is pleased to introduce a new blog series intended to spread some love to our favorite places and activities in Cooperstown. They are, after all, what makes Cooperstown America’s Most Perfect Village.

For 2018 , we are resolute in telling you a bit more about the wonderful farm fresh ingredients used by the chefs at The Otesaga. This is the first post in a series that will showcase an individual ingredient (that is made locally in New York state) and highlight how we incorporate it on our menus at Glimmerglass, Hawkeye Bar and Grill and more. First up?

What do you love about winter? We love waking up to a fresh blanket of snow (so pretty over Otsego Lake!) and the opportunity to bring friends and family together with fun, food-centered events for all ages. Around here, winters are for hunkering down with a good glass of wine and exploring new foods from near and afar. This year, our event list is packed - we hope you’ll join us for something!

Everybody loves a party, right? While this may be generally the case, it may not always hold true for company parties.
