The Art of the Stay

There are so many reasons why people decide to stay with us at The Otesaga Resort Hotel: the view of lovely Lake Otsego, our world-class service and modern amenities, charming, historic Cooperstown, and the comfort and elegance of the Otesaga itself. This winter, there’s also one more reason… the great performers scheduled to play in our Templeton Lounge.

What does it take for a meeting to be truly unique and memorable? While each event will have individual goals to consider, at The Otesaga Resort Hotel we have decades of experience hosting amazing, one-of-kind meetings on our stunning property.

As you prepare to visit some potential venues for your next event (hopefully The Otesaga is on your list!), it can be hard to keep track of everything you need to discuss with the site’s events manager—from technology mandatories to cuisine, and everything in between. We break it down for you in our latest blog.

As summer winds down and we make our way into autumn, Cooperstown continues to be an ideal vacation destination.

The Glimmerglass Festival, located on State Highway 80 in Cooperstown, New York is home to four fully staged professional opera productions each year.

Great meeting planners know that a successful event involves more than just ensuring that all the details are in place. Sure, it’s important to check that the microphones work and the handouts are properly collated, but unless you have the people skills to go with your organizational skills, you may never get a chance to put your abilities to the test.
