While our award-winning Leatherstocking Golf Course is closed for the season, a fresh blanket of snow provides the perfect conditions for some snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Don't want to bring your skis and snowshoes with you? Nearby Mt. Otsego Ski Shop is an option for renting equipment. Of course, planning your winter fun on the grounds of the resort means you're that much closer to warming up by the fireside!
Outdoor Fun
For winter sports enthusiasts, Glimmerglass State Park offers a variety of ways to stay active. From snowshoeing to snowmobiling, there's snowy fun for every speed. Anglers can try their hand at ice fishing, as the park sits at the northern end of Otsego Lake. In January and February (weather permitting), the tubing hill is a popular spot for the young and young at heart. There are several trails in the park that are perfect for hiking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. A short drive from The Otesaga, Glimmerglass State Park is truly a winter wonderland!
