Prep and practice on the driving range, then challenge yourself on one of the East's most scenic 18-hole courses. Designed in 1909 by Devereux Emmet, the course features a natural contour terrain that sweeps along the western shoreline of Lake Otsego and offers stunning views in any season. Nothing says summer or vacation like an invigorating swim. There is plenty of space to sunbathe or read a book by our outdoor heated pool or on the lakeside deck. Choose your favorite view of beautiful Lake Otsego, then, take the plunge for a refreshing swim!

Rent a canoe, row boat, or paddle board to catch the best views on Lake Otsego. Fishers, cast a line, the lake happens to be one of the finest deep water fisheries in the area. For those over 14 years of age, a New York Fishing license is required and available on property. Check with the concierge for details.

Explore the property via two wheels. Take in the fresh air as you peddle across paths and around scenic Lake Otsego. Then, head into The Village and discover quaint boutiques, restaurants, museums, and more. Bike rentals and maps are available from the concierge.

Enjoy a tennis match with friends or family just across the street. Our two all-weather courts are available on a first come first served basis free of charge. We'll even loan you a racquet! Tennis balls are available for purchase at The Gift Shop.

Take a self-guided walking tour of historic sites and buildings. Or, stop by the concierge for the ideal running or jogging route. Enjoy a close up view of what makes Cooperstown thrive while exploring The Village or scenic paths right here on The Otesaga Resort Hotel property.

Find a newspaper, souvenir, or tasty treat in our Gift Shop and then spend an afternoon shopping The Village where you'll find a variety of charming stores only a few minutes walk from our front steps. A local favorite is Cooperstown Bat Company where custom engraved bats are made for both professional players and visitors. Each shop holds something unique; baseball memorabilia, locally made foods, gifts, and more.
