A The Otesaga is in the Village of Cooperstown in Central New York. The resort is 70 miles west of Albany, 97 miles southeast of Syracuse, and a scenic four-hour drive north of New York City. The Otesaga overlooks beautiful Lake Otsego and is just a few minute's walk to downtown shopping and the National Baseball Hall of Fame. A trolley runs to Village attractions during the summer and on weekends in the Spring and Fall.

Glimmerglass offers a Sunday Brunch from 11:30am - 2:00pm. Overlooking Lake Otsego, Hawkeye Grill & Bar serves seasonal favorites for lunch and dinner and has a great patio during the warm months. Stop by Leatherstocking Golf Grill & Patio for lunch, light fare and cocktails overlooking the fairways. Dinner at Glimmerglass requires resort casual attire; no denims, shorts, t-shirts, athletic shoes or caps.
A Albany International Airport is 1.5 hours east of Cooperstown and 2 hours east of the Syracuse Airport. Private planes may also use the Oneonta Airport with a runway of 4,200 feet located 20 miles from the hotel, or the Oneida County Airport in Utica, which is 1 hour north. Delta (Detroit), US Air (Philadelphia) and United (Washington/IAD) service the Greater Binghamton Airport, 1.5 hours from The Otesaga.

Swim in our heated outdoor pool and the clear waters of Lake Otsego, workout in the fitness center and hit our outdoor tennis courts. Enjoy canoeing and kayaking on Lake Otsego with canoe rentals available. The lake also offers exceptional deep water fishing for salmon, trout and small and large mouth bass. During the appropriate season fishing and hunting, guides can assist you. We can also organize group skeet shooting.
A Yes, the public is welcome to play The Otesaga's Leatherstocking Golf Course - named one of the ten best public courses in New York State by Golfweek. The course also received the second highest overall rating for public courses in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut by the Zagat Survey and earned 4-1/2 stars from Golf Digest. Tee times may be made 6 days in advance at (800) 348-6222. Golf carts are required on weekends and holidays.
