Opening Reception for two new exhibitions on Friday, August 18th from 5-7pm.\n\"Made in New York: The Art of Wood\" is the 28th biennial Fine Craft Invitational show devoted entirely to woodworking, including both functional and nonfunctional creations made with local and exotic woods. Featuring local and regional artisans and craftspeople, this year’s show will include turned and carved items, sculpture, furniture, lighting, jewelry, vessels and more!\nIn Gallery B, we will feature \"Paint the Point!\" an exhibition of artwork by the participants of the Otsego Land Trust’s plein-air painting event at Brookwood Point in Cooperstown, New York in conjunction with the Cooperstown Art Association. The Otsego Land Trust organized this event for weekend of July 15th & 16th to bring visibility to one of the many beautiful public lands they manage in Otsego County. The goal was to draw interest to the area through a weekend long event that resulted in 26 plein-air artists convening on Brookwood Point and painting at their leisure while the public was welcome to come and enjoy and view the area alongside them. All participating artists were also given the opportunity to display and sell their work at the Cooperstown Art Association to further celebrate “Paint the Point” and share their work with the public.\nBoth Exhibits on Display through September 22 during Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 11am-4pm
