About this event

Join us for a special presentation of Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) history by noted Mohawk scholar Darren Bonaparte. Darren will share recreated wampum belts and provide insight into the important agreements memorialized by these belts. Following the presentation, Chris Thomas and Friends (Onondaga) will lead an energetic, participatory series of traditional social dances.\nThis family-friendly event is free of cost and will take place at the Lucy B. Hamilton Amphitheater overlooking Otsego Lake.
