The Farmers’ Museum (Fenimore Farm & Country Village)

  • April to mid-May & mid-October to October 31: Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (closed Mondays) 
  • Mid-May to mid-October: Daily, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM 
  • November–March: Closed except for special events.

One of the nation’s oldest living history museums, The Farmers’ Museum—now Fenimore Farm & Country Village—offers an immersive journey into 19th-century rural and village life. With over two dozen historic buildings, working farmsteads, and interactive exhibits, the museum brings New York’s agricultural heritage to life for visitors of all ages.
