Prepare monthly financial statements per generally accepted accounting regulations, company policies and all local and state regulations.
Oversee and closely monitor funds transfers and cash disbursements policies.
Set or revise the organization's financial policies when necessary.
Prepare periodic internal and external reports required by the GM and the annual budget.
Oversee, assign, and delegate responsibility to the Accounting sub-departments including Accounts Receivable and Payable, Cashiering, Income Audit, Night Audit, and Purchasing.
Evaluate performance and administer a continual training program.
Timely prepare, file, and pay all government taxes, insurances, and licenses.
Assist department heads in achieving yearly profit per budgetary guidelines.
Assist in negotiating operating contracts, leases, and agreements.
Remain in contact with, assist, and cooperate with Company Executives, hotel employees, external auditors, government offices, banking and insurance executives, and vendors.
Maintain control of all food and beverage costs, supplies, equipment, etc., among hotel departments.
Review PO requests to maintain budgetary guidelines forwarding to GM for approval.
Prepare annual Operating and Capital Budgets

Supervise all restaurant activities
Oversee guest services and resolve issues
Ensure a high quality of guest satisfaction
Train and manage restaurant supervisor, greeters, servers and bussers
Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
Adhere to all hotel policies
Responsible for appropriate cash handling in the department
Previous experience in restaurant management
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills

Shift supervisor supports the Restaurant Manager
Ensure staff is at a pre-meal meeting. Knowledge of menu items, specials, promotional items.
Knowledge of Seat Me reservation system and Squirrel Systems
Insuring complete guest satisfaction
Support team morale during high volume, fast paced meal periods
Handling guest concerns and assisting staff when needed
Other duties as assigned by management team.

SOUS CHEF  - Management of food production and service of all areas of the culinary department, including expediting, ala carte menus and also volume production while maintaining The Otesaga Resort Hotel's 4 diamond standards through organization, delegation and supervision of culinary team as well as "hands on" production.  2-3 years experience with a degree in culinary arts preferred. FT w/benefits

BREAD BAKER - This position must be able to produce high quality artisan bread and bread products from scratch. Must be able to perform baking in a safe and sanitary work environment. Must be able to perform all steps in the baking process and ensure the proper handling and labeling of food that is set within the guidelines of NYS Health Codes.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a culinary degree preferred. Must have 4 years baking experience, concentrating on bread. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. 

HOT LINE COOKS - EXPERIENCED: The Line Cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen. At times, the Line Cook will be tasked to prepare items for another station or special event. In addition, the Line Cook cleans kitchen equipment, organizes produce delivery, and completes a nightly inventory

MASSAGE THERAPIST: NYS licensed in Massage Therapy. Professionally perform a body massage while consistently obtaining full guest satisfaction.
Complete services requested within the time frame specified by management
Must ensure privacy and proper draping
Must be proficient in all areas of massage therapy.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow proper sanitation procedures for all equipment used.

SECURITY -  11:30PM - 7:30AM shift. Hotel Security main function is to keep our guests, staff and property a safe environment.  This position will need to perform designated rounds within the Otesaga Hotel, Cooper Inn and it's properties. Must be able to walk distances and stairs, be able to respond quickly. This position assists our guest requests that come to the Front Desk and with the Shuttle.

SHUTTLE DRIVERS - Must have a clean driver's license. Transports employees to parking areas and or housing units in Otesaga marked vehicle. This position will drive the hotel van to shuttle employees back and forth from the hotel to a designated lot or housing facility. Must be courteous and friendly to staff.

FRONT DESK CLERK - Welcome and register guests upon arrival at the hotel. Must have computer knowledge and cash handling skills. Provide information and help guests with problems.  Must be professionally friendly and good with people. Day shifts 7:00am - 3:30pm, 9:30am - 6:00pm. Evening shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm. Overnight at the Cooper Inn - 11:30pm - 7:30am

BELL STAFF / VALETMust be 18+ and have an excellent driving record & interact with people. Weekdays & weekends; varying hours.   Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs. This position will meet our guests as they drive up to the hotel. They are the first person that greets our guests. Unload luggage from the vehicle as our guest checks in. May help them to their room and park their car.

BARTENDER -  Prepare alcoholic beverages requested by our guests. Set up and breakdown of event bars and move mobile bars to designated event areas. Clean glasses and cut garnishes. Must be professional and good customer service. Must be able to use cash and credit card Squirrel checkout. We will train the right people that have the passion to learn to be a true Bartender.

BEVERAGE STEWARD - Beverage inventory, stocking shelves, cleaning beverage area, gather together wine, liquor, and beer for banquet bar

DINING ROOM CAPTAIN - A Lead employee to assist wait staff / bus persons. Responsible for dining room cleanliness, billing, and assist with training of staff on a daily basis. Coffee break service and banquets.

GREETER - Welcome and assist guests in the New Glimmerglass Room or Hawkeye Grill. All shifts, all days of the week.

SERVERS - Wait on diners in the New Glimmerglass Room, Hawkeye Grill and special events. Experience preferred. Must be available for all shifts, breakfast, lunch and dinner; and all days of the week. Days off rotate. 

TABLE BUSSERS- Set up, clear & move tables in the New Glimmerglass Room and Hawkeye Grill, must be available all shifts and days of week.  This position will give water to the tables and assist  servers when needed.  Must be able to lift and move 40 lbs.  Days off rotate

HOUSEPERSON - 8 am - 3pm (6 days a week including weekend and holidays)  Duties include but are not limited to, heavy vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of restrooms, removing trash, taking care of guest requests, delivering and picking up of clean and dirty linen, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
EVENING HOUSEPERSON - 3pm - 10pm (6 days a week including weekends and holidays) Duties include but are not limited to, heavy vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of restrooms, taking care of guest requests, delivering and picking up of clean and dirty linen, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
RELIEF HOUSEPERSON - Various hours beginning at 8 am and ending at 10pm (6 days a week) Covers other cleaners on days off.  Duties include but are not limited to, heavy vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of restrooms, delivering and picking up of clean and dirty linen, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, etc.
ROOM ATTENDANTS - 8 am -3 pm @ Cooper Inn or 830 am - 330 pm Otesaga Hotel (6 days a week). Duties include but are not limited to, deep cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, cleaning and upkeep of guest hallways including doors and windows, neatness of closets and carts, heavy cleaning of the Cooper inn guest rooms and hallways including doors and windows, etc.
TURNDOWN ATTENDANTS - 3pm - 10pm & 4 pm - 11 pm (6 nights a week) Duties include but are not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, deep cleaning, cleaning of restrooms, cleaning of offices, cleaning of pro shop, turning down guest rooms, delivering guest requests, etc.
RELIEF TURNDOWN - 3 pm - 10 pm, 4 pm - 11 pm (6 nights a week) Duties include but are not limited to, covering days off of turndown attendants, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, deep cleaning, cleaning of restrooms, turning down guest rooms, delivering guest requests, etc.
HOUSEKEEPING INSPECTOR - 830 am - 330 pm (6 days a week) Duties include but are not limited to, supervising and inspecting guest rooms as they are being cleaned and when rooms are completed, taking care of guest requests, inspecting public space and restrooms, inspecting the Cooper Inn guestrooms and public space, inspecting the outside areas of the hotel, parking lot, service building, pro shop, will be trained as room attendant for possibility of filling in, etc.

STAFF CAFETERIA ATTENDANT - this position will be serving staff lunch and/or dinner shifts. Minor cooking of sandwiches or hotdogs may be asked of the attendant. Cleaning of the lunch room and stocking plates and utensils.  Knowledge of food safety and packaging a must.

PRO SHOP CLERK - Welcome and greet guests; must have computer skills to cashier; restock shelves; good communication skills; Record tee times and provide guests with accurate golf course playing policies

PRO SHOP ATTENDANT - Attend to the guests that play golf at our golf course.
Set up and clean golf carts and assist with baggage

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE - Maintain turf and golf course per Superintendent specifications; Utilize special equipment properly and safely; practice golf course etiquette with guests. This position includes mowing, raking sand traps, maintaining rough.  
HOTEL GROUNDS - Mowing and trimming of outside hotel grounds and Cooper Inn; removal of trash and debris; replanting  
GIFT SHOP CLERKS - Welcome and greet guests to our new gift shop; must have some computer skills to cashier; restock shelves; good communication skills
