  Exclusive Events Take Fans Inside Baseball History in Cooperstown –
 

(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – A visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown connects fans to the grandeur of the game and the heroes of its history.

Coming in the spring of 2013, fans can even delve deeper into the Museum’s collections, archives and exhibits through the Hall’s exclusive program known as the “VIP Experience.”

Beginning in March, Cooperstown visitors will have four opportunities to take an up-close look at baseball’s most honored cathedral. Each VIP Experience event provides a unique, personal look at the Hall of Fame and its collections, through a package available only through participating Cooperstown accommodations.

Dates for 2013 VIP Experiences include:

March 14-15

April 4-5 

May 9-10 

May 16-17 

The two-day event includes a Hall of Fame Sustaining Membership ($100 value), exclusive after-hours access to the Museum, a library archive tour, a Museum collections artifact presentation and a private reception.

Available for purchase exclusively through select Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce accommodations, the Hall of Fame VIP Experience makes a great get-away for individuals, couples and families, or a great gift for someone special. Members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum receive free admission to the Museum, as well as access to exclusive programs, such as the Voices of the Game Series. Additionally, members receive a subscription to the Hall of Fame’s bi-monthly magazine, Memories and Dreams, the annual Hall of Fame Yearbook and a 10% discount and free shipping on retail purchases. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. The Museum observes regular hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from Labor Day until Memorial Day Weekend. From Memorial Day Weekend through the day before Labor Day, the Museum observes summer hours of 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Ticket prices are $19.50 for adults (13 and over), $12 for seniors (65 and over) and for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations, and $7 for juniors (ages 7-12).
