November Sommelier Series - Wines of Italy

Join Sommelier Chad Douglass to savor delicious wines and small plate samplings.  The one-hour event begins at 5:30 pm.  This month’s menu is:

  • Sizzling Sardines (Toasted Pine Nuts/Roasted Grapes/Peasant Bread) paired with Rocca Sveva Soave Classico DOC, 2013 (Veneto)
  • Wild Mushroom Risotto (Crimini/Oyster/Portobello/Pecorino Romano/White Truffle Oil) paired with Michele Chiarlo “Le Orme” Barbera d’Asti, 2011 (Piedmonte)
  • Prime Butcher’s Butter (Prime Rib Cap/Hazelnuts/Gremolata/Parmesan Potato Puree) paired with Antinori Brunello di Montalcino, 2007 (Toscana)
  • Ribiola Cheese (Fig Jam/Black Pepper Honey/Marcona Almonds) paired with Valdo Prosecco Brut, NV (Valdobbiadene)

$45 per person, including tax and gratuity.  Reservation required by calling 607-544-2519.  You must be at least 21 years of age to attend.
