October Sommelier Series – California Wines

Join Sommelier Chad Douglass to savor delicious wines and small plate samplings.  The one-hour event begins at 5:30 pm.  This month’s menu is:

  • Kabocha Pumpkin Agnolotti (Mascarpone/Toasted Pepita Seeds/Lacinato Kale/Sage Brown Butter) paired with Domaine Mumm Brut Prestiga (Napa)
  • Zahtar Spiced Halibut Taco (Avocado/ Radish/ Cilantro/ Scallion/ Lettuce Wrap/Citrus Tahini)paired with Silverado “Miller Ranch” Sauvignon Blanc, 2012 (Napa)
  • Ancho Braised Short Rib (Green Olive Tamale/Celery Hearts) paired with Rodney Strong “Russian River Valley” Pinot Noir , 2012 (Sonoma)
  • Flourless Chocolate Torte (Sour Cherry & Port Reduction) paired with Andrew Murray “Tour les Jour” Syrah, 2012 (Santa Ynez)
