Main Dining Room
The first meal served in 1909 featured caviar canapés, broiled halibut with potatoes Parisiennes, Lamb Chops Monte Carlo, seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits, and desserts like coconut cake and rhubarb pie. Today, Otesaga chefs feature a delicious, imaginative and varied daily menu that will appeal to all members of your family, while emphasizing foods from central New York State.
Breakfast: Each day begins with a choice of table service or selections from our breakfast buffet in a bright and elegant setting.
Lunch: A sumptuous luncheon buffet is available with optional setting on the Veranda overlooking the panorama of Lake Otsego and our golf course.
Dinner: The four-course evening prix fixe dinner menu is accompanied by candlelight and piano music (except Sunday). A selection of fine wines carefully selected by Sommelier Chad Douglass complements the dining experience.
In-season, the Main Dining Room is open daily to individuals and groups of almost any size:
- Breakfast 7:00AM – 10:00AM
- Buffet Lunch is served Monday – Saturday 12:00PM – 2:00PM
- Sunday Brunch from 11:30AM – 2:00PM.
- Dinner 6:00PM – 8:30PM
- We also open early for lunch and dinner on days of Glimmerglass Festival performances.
