Our wine list gets even better with age! Thanks to Sommelier Chad Douglass!
Wine tasting! It really is a tough job! And our Sommelier, Chad Douglass, has to do it as he creates and re-creates The Hotel’s renowned Wine List for our guests’ enjoyment.
Chad has been developing and expanding The Hotel’s Wine Cellar for the past decade. In the beginning, he endured an intense week of blind wine tastings, instruction, and written testing conducted by the world-famous Court of Master Sommeliers. Chad earned the designation of Certified Wine Professional (CWP) and, with continued study (and tasting), he will become a Certified Sommelier (CS). Someday Chad will be awarded the title of Master Sommelier (MS), of which there are only 103 in the North and South Americas.

Sample delicious beverages from all over the United States and the world with Sommelier Chad Douglass during our monthly themed Sommelier Tastings. The price includes the one-hour tasting paired with small plate samplings. Of course you must be at least 21 years old to participate.
