GREETER - Welcome and assist guests to their tables in the Dining Room or Hawkeye Grill. Take telephone reservations for the dining area. All shifts, all days of the week.
SERVERS - Wait on diners in the Main Dining Room, Hawkeye Grill and special events. Experience preferred. Must be available for all shifts, breakfast, lunch and dinner; and all days of the week. Days off rotate.
TABLE BUSSERS- Set up, clear & move tables in the Dining Room and Hawkeye Grill, must be available all shifts and days of week.  Must be able to lift and move 40+ lbs.  Days off rotate
BARTENDERS -  Prepare alcoholic beverages requested by our guests. Set up and breakdown of event bars and move mobile bars to designated event areas. Clean glasses and cut garnishes. Must be professional and good customer service. Must be able to use cash and credit card Squirrel checkout.
GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE - Maintain turf and golf course per Superintendent specifications; Utilize special equipment properly and safely; practice golf course etiquette with guests.
STEWARD/DISHWASHER/CLEANER - experience preferred. Days and evenings, 5 days a week. Clean and maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, dishes, floors, equipment etc.
BELL STAFF / VALET -  Must be 18 and have an excellent driving record & people skills. Weekdays & weekends; varying hours.   Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.
HOUSEPERSON - Duties include but are not limited to, heavy vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, using a ladder for high cleaning areas, deep cleaning of restrooms, delivering and picking up of clean and dirty linen, using a machine to refinish marble and clean tile floors, etc. Other duties as required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
ROOM ATTENDANTS - Duties include but are not limited to, deep cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, cleaning and upkeep of guest hallways including doors and windows, neatness of closets and carts. Other duties as required.
TURNDOWN ATTENDANTS - Duties include but are not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, deep cleaning, cleaning of restrooms, cleaning of offices, cleaning of pro shop, turning down guest rooms, delivering guest requests, etc. Other duties as required.
HOUSEKEEPING INSPECTOR - Duties include but are not limited to, supervising and inspecting guest rooms as they are being cleaned and when rooms are completed, taking care of guest requests, inspecting public space and restrooms, inspecting the Cooper Inn guestrooms and public space, inspecting the outside areas of the hotel, parking lot, service building, pro shop, will be trained as room attendant for possibility of filling in, etc. Other duties as required.
LAUNDRY - wash, dry, fold, all hotel linens including but not limited to table cloths; towels; bathrobes; bed linens and staff uniforms. 
ESTHETICIAN -  NYS licensed Esthetician to perform facials.  Professionally perform facial treatments on gusts while obtaining high guest satisfaction. Prior experience in a Spa or Cosmetology setting that is governed by NYS cosmetology laws preferred.
MASSAGE THERAPIST: NYS licensed in Massage Therapy. Professionally perform a body massage on a guest while consistently obtaining full guest satisfaction.
Greet guests and show them to their massage room
Complete services requested within the time frame specified by management
Must ensure privacy and proper draping
Must be proficient in all areas of massage therapy, including but not limited to anatomy, physiology, body systems.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow proper sanitation procedures for all equipment used.

EVENT MANAGEMENT SET-UP - Move and set up tables, equipment and provisions for events, meetings and function rooms. Various evenings. Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs
CATERING ASSISTANT - This position is directly responsible for the office support and administration of the Event Management department Produce Daily Reports - Event Posting, Change Log, Daily and Weekly Event sheet, Produce daily correspondence, introductory letters, thank you letters, Prepare and post A.V. and Miscellaneous Event Charges to Group Master Accounts on a daily basis; Create, prepare, produce and distribute group menus; Assist in the design; preparation and production of restaurant and special event menus; Administrate and tabulate Event Management Survey responses. Additional duties as assigned

DINING ROOM CAPTAIN - A Lead employee to assist wait staff / bus persons. Responsible for dining room cleanliness, billing, and assist with training of staff on a daily basis. Coffee break service and banquets.
HAWKEYE GRILL CAPTAIN - A Lead employee to assist wait staff and food runners in the new Hawkeye Grill restaurant. Must be able to give direction to staff in a calm, positive voice while accommodating guest service

GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT - Responsible for operation of the golf course operation and maintenance, the hotels grounds of the Otesaga and Cooper Inn, and two homes located next to the Otesaga. The responsibilities include: turf grass/plant material maintenance programs, property/asset management, personnel management, budget/forecasting, financial management, member relations, scheduling/maintenance or irrigation systems, pesticide applications, related recordings, and compliance of regulatory issues. The Golf Course Superintendent works to create an environment where staff is involved and enthusiastic, with open communications and respect for themselves, members, guests and the property.
Basic Functions:
Responsible for all phases of Golf Maintenance and Agronomic operations, cost control, and personnel.
Works closely with, advises, and coordinates with the Head Golf Professional on any issues related to golf course maintenance.
Directs and participates in the construction and maintenance of the grounds.
Designs landscape plans for facility grounds and implements the plan.
Administers and enforces all Club rules, regulations and policies for staff.
Supports and assists with membership seminars and orientations.
Works closely with the GM to operate the Golf Course in a fiscally responsible and professional manner.
Must be able to work independently and be a self-starting problem solver.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years experience as a Golf Superintendent or 1st Assistant
2-year Degree or Certificate in Turf Management (or related field, like agronomy, horticulture, plant science, soil science). Minimum
Advance computer skills required for financial reporting and control of operations, including use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid Driver's License.
Pesticide Application License
Prefer Certification by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America

NIGHT WATCHMAN - Oversees the resort property during the evening and early morning hours.
 Ensures that a safe and secure environment is maintained. Must possess excellent guest service skills, must be aware and alert to surroundings, changes and security. Minor maintenance as needed.

LIFEGUARD - Duties include but are not limited to, cleaning lounge chairs and tables, keeping patio clean, taking garbage out at end of shift, watching all swimmers at all times while in pool, following rules and making sure guests follow rules, renting canoes, must be certified for lifeguarding/waterfront/ first aid/CPR/AED for professional rescuer. Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend

BELL STAFF / VALET -  Must be 18 and have an excellent driving record & people skills. Weekdays & weekends; varying hours.   Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs. This position will meet our guests as they drive up to the hotel. They are the first person that greets our guests. Unload luggage from the vehicle as our guest checks in. May help them to their room and park their car.
 
HOUSEPERSON -Various shifts and hours, various days off (6 days/evenings, nights a week) Must be dependable and able to work weekends and holidays.  Must have dependable transportation for Monday thru Sunday.  Duties include but are not limited to, heavy vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, using a ladder for high cleaning areas, deep cleaning of restrooms, delivering and picking up of clean and dirty linen, using a machine to refinish marble and clean tile floors, etc. Other duties as required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

ROOM ATTENDANTS -8 am -3 pm & 830 am - 330 pm (6 days a week) Must be dependable and able to work weekends and holidays. Must have dependable transportation for Monday thru Sunday.  Duties include but are not limited to, deep cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, cleaning and upkeep of guest hallways including doors and windows, neatness of closets and carts, pick up of office garbage in the Hotel and the Cooper Inn, cleaning of general manager's home, etc. Other duties as required.

TURNDOWN ATTENDANTS - 3 pm - 10 pm & 4 pm - 11 pm (6 nights a week) Must be dependable and able to work weekends and holidays. Must have dependable transportation for Monday thru Sunday. Duties include but are not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, deep cleaning, cleaning of restrooms, cleaning of offices, cleaning of pro shop, turning down guest rooms, delivering guest requests, etc. Other duties as required.

HOUSEKEEPING INSPECTOR - 830 am - 330 pm (6 days a week) Must be dependable and able to work weekends and holidays. Must have dependable transportation for Monday thru Sunday. Must be able to bend down to look underneath furniture and beds and be able to pull out some furniture to check behind it. Duties include but are not limited to, supervising and inspecting guest rooms as they are being cleaned and when rooms are completed, taking care of guest requests, inspecting public space and restrooms, inspecting the Cooper Inn guestrooms and public space, inspecting the outside areas of the hotel, parking lot, service building, pro shop, will be trained as room attendant for possibility of filling in, etc. Other duties as required.

LINE COOKS - EXPERIENCED- The Line Cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen. He/She prepares all items needed for service, from chopping vegetables to making sauces and butchering meat. At times, the Line Cook will be tasked to prepare items for another station or special event. In addition, the Line Cook cleans kitchen equipment, organizes produce delivery, trains new cooks and completes a nightly inventory. The ideal Line Cook candidate has a minimum of one year training and/or experience and is responsible to:
• Set up station according to restaurant guidelines
• Practice, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures according to policy and health/sanitation regulations Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
• Manage and maintain a safe working condition
• Restock all items as needed throughout shift
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensure products are consistent with quality standards

Prior experience in a Spa or Cosmetology setting that is governed by NYS cosmetology laws preferred.
Be able to answer phones and make appointments in a courteous manner
Greet guests professionally and courteously
Review medical waiver and release for with guest
Complete requested service proficiently and with the time frame set by management
Must ensure privacy and proper draping
Provide infection control per state regulations
Maintain products, supplies, and inventory daily
Promote additional products and services
Stock supplies and linens prior and after every shift
Perform other duties as requested by management
